Requirement:
To carry out the maintenance and alterations of the Canadian
Coast Guard (CCG) vessel "CCGS Griffon" in accordance with the
provided Specification No. 638.12, Rev.2, dated July 23, 2012.
Viewing - Vessel:
Arrangements have been made for a viewing of the vessel. The
viewing will take place before the Bidder's Conference on August
9, 2012 @ 1000 at CCIW Burlington, 867 Lakeshore Road,
Burlington, Ontario.
Bidders' Conference:
A bidders' conference chaired by the Contracting Authority will
be held at CCIW Burlington,
867 Lakeshore Road, Burlington, Ontario on August 9, 2012 @ 1300.
Destination:
The work shall be carried out at Canadian Coast Guard Base,
Prescott, Ontario.

Insurance Requirement
A Ship Repairers' Liability Insurance and a Commercial General
Liability Insurance, each of not less than $10,000,000 per
accident or occurrence and to $20,000,000 in the annual
aggregate will be required.
Sourcing Strategy:
The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be
limited to suppliers in Eastern Canada Region, in accordance
with the Shipbuilding, Refit, Repair and Modernization Policy
(1996-12-19) subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
This procurement is exempt from NAFTA [see Chapter 10, Annex
1001.2b, paragraph 1 (a)] and from the WTO-AGP (see Annex 4).

procurement.
