Nature of Requirements:
TITLE: Bulk petroleum refuelling for Schefferville region
1. Requirement :
A Contractor is needed to supply bulk petroleum products for
refuelling with gasoline and diesel fuel, primarily for standard
military pattern and commercial land vehicles, as well as
aviation fuel for Canadian Forces (CF) helicopters and Twin
Otter airplanes.
The identified user is the Department of National Defence (DND),
and the petroleum products will be used by CF members taking
part in military exercises Guerrier Nordique 2013(GN
13)andSapeur Nordique 2013, which will take place in the
Schefferville region of Quebec.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade
Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the
North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT), Canada - Peru Free Trade Agreement, Canada
- Colombia Free Trade Agreement and Canada - Chile Free Trade
Agreement.
2. Term of Contract
The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to 15 March
2013, inclusively.
3. Basis of Selection - the lowest price
A bid must comply with all requirements of the bid solicitation
to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest
evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
