Requirement:
The department of Canadian Heritage has a requirement to
purchase and install an Electrically Powered High Density Mobile
Shelving System.
This requirement includes an option to remove the existing
shelving system. Canada may exercise this option five (5)
business days after contract award by sending a written notice
to the Contractor. The option may only be exercised by the
Contracting Authority, and will be evidenced for administrative
purposes only, through a contract amendment.
Mandatory Site Visit
It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for site
visit to be held on January 20th, 2015 at 10h00 EST located at
25 Eddy Street, Gatineau QC, K1A0M5.
Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later
than two (2) day(s) before the scheduled visit to confirm
attendance and provide the names of the person(s) who will
attend.
Bidders will be required to sign an attendance form. Bidders
should confirm in their bids that they have attended the site
visit. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will
not be given an alternative appointment and their bids will be
rejected as non-compliant. Any clarifications or changes to the
bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included
as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
Debriefings:
Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid
solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the
Contracting Authority within 15 working days from receipt of the
results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be
in writing, by telephone or in person.

procurement.
