The National Research Council Canada has a requirement for the supply of a 1.2 GHz acquisition bandwidth real-time spectrum analyzer (26.5 GHz) to capture and stream in-phase and quadrature (I/Q) data. The real-time spectrum analyzer will be used in a reverberation chamber to qualify DUTs against very stringent telescope protection levels. To achieve this, a low-noise, ultra-sensitive real-time spectrum analyzer is required. The real-time spectrum analyzer will capture and stream I/Q data that is used to reconstruct complex time domain signals that are then transformed to the frequency domain where radio astronomy techniques of spectral integration are used to reduce the standard deviation of the noise.
Not applicable
Supply a 1.2 GHz bandwidth real‑time spectrum analyzer (up to 26.5 GHz) for the NRC to capture and stream I/Q data in a reverberation chamber for telescope protection testing.
