Line 1, GNSS Receiver and Antenna System
Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) operates and maintains the Western Canada Deformation Array (WCDA), a network of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS), used primarily for the purpose of natural hazard studies. The standard equipment at each WCDA station includes a CORS receiver, geodetic-quality high-stability monumentation, a choke-ring antenna with radome, and IP based communications. The intent of this process is for NRCan to obtain bids and award a contract for the procurement of these GNSS receivers and antennas.
