The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for
the procurement of a quantity of nine (9) VLF/LF MSK Receivers
and related ancillaries that are part of the Victoria Class
Submarines External Communications System, for delivery in
Halifax, Nova Scotia and Victoria, British Columbia. The Work
required must be in accordance with the Statement of Work at
Annex A of the Request For Proposal (RFP). It is requested that
delivery for five (5) receivers be completed on or before March
31, 2012.

The Work includes delivery of the following:

(a) Nine (9) VLF/LF MSK Receivers;
(b) Documentation;
(c) Training;
(d) Field Service Representative services for the installation,
trial and acceptance testing of the receivers on an "as and when
requested" basis, over a period of up to 5 years from contract
award.

DND also reserves the right to purchase spare part items
selected from a Recommended Spare Part List (RSPL) in order to
maintain the receivers over a five year period.

This amendment 008 is raised to address questions that have been
raised by bidders.

ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS REMAIN UNCHANGED.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
