Acoustics Research

THIS AMENDS THE CLOSING DATE OF THE NPP POSTED ON THE MERX
ELECTRONIC BOARD FROM 17 AUGUST 2012 TO 31 AUGUST 2012.

Defence Research and Development Canada - Toronto has a
requirement for a Regional Individual Standing Offer for the
provision of technical support for research in the areas of
physical and psychological acoustics as an when requested during
the period from date of award to 31 March 2015.

The work will include the assembly, implementation and
maintenance of acoustical instruments and
computer hardware, acoustical measurements, audio recording and
the development of computer
software for studies of auditory perception in noise. The work
will involve the use of state-of-the-art
acoustical instruments and technologies and computer systems for
both laboratory and field studies.

The anticipated usage is $180,000.00 HST extra for the period of
the RISO.

There is a security requirement associated with this
requirement.

The Contractor/Offeror must, at all times during the performance
of the Contract/Standing Offer, hold a
valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the
Canadian Industrial Security Directorate
(CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).

The Contractor/Offeror personnel requiring access to PROTECTED
information, assets or sensitive work
site(s) must EACH hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted or
approved by CISD/PWGSC.

procurement.
