Public Works and Government Services Canada on behalf of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) has a requirement for work comprising of, but not limited to, the supply and installation of grandular base, slab on grade and concrete end block for an approximate 1000 square metre area in the uplands behind the existing marginal wharf in River of Ponds, NL.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
It is recommended the bidders visit the site and its surroundings and verify the form, nature and extent of the work, the means to access the site, severity, exposure and uncertainty of weather, soil conditions and in general obtain all necessary information as to risks, contingencies and other circumstances prior to submitting a bid. In order to arrange access to the site, please contact a PWGSC site representative for a review of the existing roof.
Bidders must refer to Section 01 35 29 - Health and Safety Requirements, Item 1.11 Project/Site Conditions of specifications before performing any site inspection or preliminary work on site.
Bidders must refer to General Instructions to Bidders - R2710T (2016-04-04) for the Integrity Provisions applicable to this requirement.
