Finger Pier Wharf Reconstruction, Jerseyside, NL
Public Works & Government Services Canada has a requirement for
work that will consist of but not limited to the following: a)
Remove the existing treated timber pile wharf in its entirety
along the uplands items, b) Dispose of existing treated timber
materials asper contract, c) offload and store at work site all
materials suplied by Canada, d) Construction of a new 6.1m
widex63.5m long finger pier wharf, e) Conduct in situ pile load
testing on selected piles, f) Uplands site improvements and g)
New lighting poles and empty conduits for future electrical
services.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Bidders must refer to Section 01 35 28 - Health and Safety
Requirements, Item 1.9, Projects Site Conditions, of
specifications before performing any site inspection or
preliminary work at site.
2. Bidders recommended to visit site prior to submitting bid.
3. There will be Cown supplied material at a value of $300,000
that will need to be covered by the insurance of the successful
bidder.
Bidders must refer to GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS (GI) - R2710T
(2014-09-25) for the Code of Conduct and Certification
provisions applicable to this requirement.
