Background:
The CFIA Lethbridge Laboratory was originally constructed in 1987. Many components of the facility are beginning to reach the end of their lifecycle. Many of the curb stop valves are failing to close, making repairs to numerous areas difficult if not impossible.
Scope:
Work under this contract includes the supply of equipment, labour and material to replacement/re-build the existing 13 – 8” and 6 – 6” stop valves at various locations on the property as specified.
Mandatory Site Visit:
It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site, and failure to
comply with this mandatory requirement will result in the tender being declared non-responsive and disqualified. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held on the date and time indicated below, and at the location also indicated below:
