Description of the requirement:
ECDocs is a complete online help tool containing the most up-to-date versions of the operational manuals, calendars, forms and checklists for election officials. It is used by election officials as a source of information and to assist with procedures and tasks. Updates are made in print-ready and HTML format.
Due to the high volume of updates, Elections Canada requires the services of four technical writers of which at least one will be able to perform the totality of the work in both official languages, in particular with regards to writing and interpreting both French and English text. The Technical Writers will work in collaboration with the Field Communications team to update English and French print-ready and online files for the production of ECDocs.
The objective of the contract is to publish ECDocs using the appropriate electronic and print-ready channels and integrate the latest revisions to content.
Proposed period of contract:
The proposed period of contract shall be from award of a contract for a period starting at contract award to February 28, 2015 with an option to extend the term of the Contract by up to 1 additional one-month period, under the same terms and conditions.
