Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf of
the Department of Fisheries and Oceans has the requirement for
re-dredging the inner harbour basin and harbour entrance channel
located in Little River, Victoria County, NS.
The work includes but is not limited to:
.1 Preparation of the on-site dredge material disposal area;
.2 Preparation of temporary off-loading facility, as required;
.3 Re-dredging of class B material from the harbour basin and
entrance channel to lines and elevations as indicated on the
plan;
.4 Disposal of the dredge material from 'Dredge Area A' as
shown, within the on-site disposal location as shown; and;
.5 Transportation and disposal of the dredge material from
'Dredge Area B' as shown, at the site designated by the
Departmental Representative located at Breton Cove, Victoria
County, NS (PID# 85072650).
All work is to be completed within 10 weeks from contract award
date.
