Full description

The project is located at the Covehead Bridge between Bracklay and Dalvay in Prince Edward Island. The project involves widening the existing structure for the addition of a dedicated pedestrian/biking lane complete with new railing systems. Repairs will be completed to existing concrete girders and abutments (above and below water). New wingwalls and armourstone will be added at abutments, deteriorated steel sheet piling will be removed and an asphalt overlay will be added to the bridge deck. The contractor shall complete the work by October 1st 2016.
