NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT (NPP)

Title: Cooling Coil Replacement – Freshwater Institute, Winnipeg
Introduction: Work of this Contract comprises the following scope of work:

1. Work under this Contract comprises of all work involved with the replacement of the cooling coils in AHU 1 and AHU 2 and the heat reclaim coil in AHU 2 at the Freshwater Institute – 501 University Crescent, Winnipeg.
2. Other work as specified herein and shown on Drawings

Work shall include the supply of equipment, labour and materials for the performance of all work as required by the Contract Documents.

A mandatory site visit will held on Tuesday March 11th at 11:00 AM at the Freshwater Institute, 501 University Crescent, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Bidders are to meet at the front entrance of the Freshwater Institute.

The work site described in this specification is located at 501 University Crescent, Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Ownership of Intellectual Property:
Not Applicable.

Security Requirement:
There is no security requirement for this project.

Mandatory Requirements:

• The minimum acceptable amount of Public Liability and Property Damage Insurance is $2,000,000.00 per occurrence. All tenders must be accompanied by confirmation from the tenderer’s insurance company that the required insurance will be available upon contract award;
• The tenderer must provide tender security, at the tenderer’s own cost, in accordance with the document entitled "Tender Security Requirements" as Bid Security is required for bids over $100,000. Under these circumstances, the Tender and original signed Bid Bond must be delivered to the Closing Location prior to closing date.
• Note: All tender securities will be returned except that of the successful tenderer, which will be retained until the successful tenderer has provided contract security.
