TITLE:
Canal Ste-Anne-De-Bellevue Rehabilitation Phase 2

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The work that is the subject of this call for tenders involves the rehabilitation of certain Canal-de-Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue assets located on the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue Canal National Historic Site. Work will be carried out essentially between July 2018 and May 2019. A second mobilization is possible in October 2019 in order to finalize certain works.
The works consist mainly of the replacement of a masonry wall of ± 220 meters located along the downstream jetty on the river side. This existing wall will be replaced by a new prefabricated concrete block weight wall, which will require the installation of a sheet pile curtain and the placement of containment concrete to stabilize the existing timber casings. Remediation of existing concrete walls, existing wall consolidation, existing slope remediation and other work related to these interventions is also planned for the project.

There is a site visit scheduled for this project.
There will be an optional (but highly recommended) site visit on Tuesday, May 8th, 2018 at 10:30 local.
Interested bidders should go directly to the site of the works. The meeting point will be on the south side of the sluice. Please bring construction boots, as it may be necessary to cross a construction site.
