Title: North Apron Remediation

Location: Whitehorse Airport, Whitehorse, YT

Work Description:
Work of this Contract covers Construction of a Remediation by
Excavation at Whitehorse International Airport, YT. The work to
be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to
the following:
Prime Contractor for Health and Safety at Site;
All design acitivies to complete the Work;
Prepare Site for Work;
Plan excavation, including geotechnical design as required;
Excavate and Re-Instate the Aircraft Active Runaway;
Excavate non-contaminated overburden soil and stockpile;
Excavate contaminated soil and stockpile;
Excavate non-contaminated waste and stockpile;
Excavate Special Waste (Non Treatable) and stockpile;
Load, haul and deposit contaminated soil on to the onsite Land
Treatment Facility;
Load, haul and dispose non-contaminated waste to an off-site
permitted disposal facility;
Load, haul and dispose Special Waste (Non Treatable) to an
off-site permitted disposal facility;
Restore and close Site.

Delivery Date:
Complete work by March 31, 3016.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
is estimated to cost between
$1,100,000 and $1,300,000.
