Transport Canada requires the services of a Red Seal Certified Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or Red Seal Certified Diesel Engine Mechanic to remove, rebuild, rebearing, reseal and reinstall the transmission on a Toromont Caterpillar loader 962H model. The contractor must provide the round trip shipping of the loader from the Churchill Airport in Churchill Manitoba, to their shop for repairs and back to the Churchill Airport. The contractor must provide for all equipment, parts, and labour necessary to complete the transmission rebuild to manufacturer specifications by December 20, 2023. The requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian goods and services. Offerors must complete the Canadian Content certification in the Offeror Declaration Form.
