NATURE OF REQUIREMENT

The Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) has a requirement for one (1)
Marine Hydraulic Highway Trailer and will be utilized across
Canada.

The role and function for this Marine Hydraulic Highway Trailer
is for transportation and launch / recovery of its hydrographic
survey launches.

The Trailer must meet or exceed applicable standards set out by
the Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations (MVSR) so that the trailer
is legally certified to operate in all the provinces and
territories of Canada.

Delivery is requested on or before March 15, 2013 to
destination: The Department of Fisheries & Oceans / The
Canadian Coast Guard, 867 Lakeshore Road, Burlington, Ontari,
Canada L7R 4A6.

This procurement is covered by the Agreement on Internal (AIT)
and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

This procurement is exempt from the provisions of the World
Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP)
in accordance with WTO, Annex 4, Note 4.

Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement does not apply as delivery
is not within a Land Claim Area.

The sourcing strategy related to this procurement is that all
interested suppliers may submit a bid.
Bidders to be considered compliant must meet all the Mandatory
Requirements of the Request for Proposal.

The lowest priced compliant proposal will be recommended for
award.
