Work Description:
Work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to:
-replace the emergency power generator and transfer switch
-revise the power distribution
-provide commissionaire services
-supply and install miscellaneous items as shown in drawings E1
to E3
-excavation and backfill
-removal of existing generator, generator shed and concrete pad
Work will be performed in accordance with the contract schedules
within the scope of work.
Site Visit:
Contractors are recommended to visit the site prior to
submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or
investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with
the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.
An optional site visit is scheduled for Thursday, October 23 at
09:30 am local time at the Rykerts Port of Entry located at 108
Hwy 21, Creston, B.C. Interested bidders are to meet outside of
the Secondary Inspection Area by the west side door. Parking is
available at a pull out just north of the port.
Bidders who wish to attend MUST pre-register their interest in
attending the site visit by contacting Ronny Ly at
r•••••••@•••••.••.ca no later than 4:00 p.m. local time on
October 20, 2014.
Delivery Date:
The work shall commence immediately upon official notification
of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to
be completed within four (4) months of contract award.
Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
is estimated to cost between $140,000 and $160,000.
