D200 Crane Replacement
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf of
Department of National Defence has a requirement for supply,
delivery and installation of two (2)-ten ton and one (1)-fifteen
ton capacity top running double girder (TRDG) cranes (trolley
and hoist) to building D200, Fleet Maintenance Facility, Cape
Scott, Halifax NS in accordance with Annex A-Requirement of the
Request for Proposal documentation's.
Optional Site Visit
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the
site visit to be held at Rainbow Gate Dockyard, 5088 Buffer's
Lane , B3K 5X5 Halifax, NS on December 23, 2014. The site visit
will begin at 10am. Bidders are requested to communicate with
the Contracting Authority no later than December 19, 2014 at
3:30pm to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the
person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an
attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a
representative will not be given an alternative appointment but
they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any
clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from
the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid
solicitation.
Additional information required for this site visit:
1) All visitors will need to provide personal info to gain
access to the dockyard at least 24 hrs. before their visit.
Name, company name, position in the company, contact number,
supervisor's name and contact number.
2) Vehicle info will also be required if driving to and parking
at the dockyard. Vehicle make and model, color, plate number,
license, registration and insurance.

Mandatory Requirement at bid closing:
Bidder's must possess a minimum of five (5) years related
experience in supply and install of cranes. Bidder's MUST use
the tables below to list two (2) projects/ contracts (one for
each project)- See PART 4 - EVALUATION PROCEDURES AND BASIS OF
SELECTION of the Request for Proposal documentation.
All the deliverables must be received on or before March 31,2015
