contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
directory structure.
Work Description:
Work of this Contract includes, but is not limited to:
-replace the emergency power generator and transfer switch
-replace the BC Hydro incoming services
-revise the power distribution. Add panels and breakers
-provide commissionaire services
-supply and install miscellaneous items
-excavation and backfill
-removal of existing outdoor wood shed
-temporary power generator when the existing generator is removed
Work will be performed in accordance with the contract schedules
within the scope of work.
Site Visit:
Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to
submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or
investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with
the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.
A site visit will be held on September 24, 2012 at 10:00 am
local time. Contractors are to meet in the public lobby at the
Boundary Bay Border Crossing located at 4 - 56 Street, Delta,
B.C.
Delivery Date:
The work shall commence immediately upon official notification
of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to
be completed by March 01, 2013.
Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
is estimated to cost between $200,000 and $250,000.

Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain
tender (solicitation) documents through the MERX service
provider. Addenda, when issued will be available from the MERX
service provider. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender
(solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at
their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the
tender calling authority of their intention to bid. In all
cases, bidders must indicate (when requested) in the space
provided on the tender form the identification number(s) of the
addenda, if any, that they have taken into consideration for
their bid.

public in English.
