LL 1430 WADES LANDING TOWER REPLACEMENT
WADE’S LANDING, ON
Work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the provision of all labour, materials, and equipment required to:
- Supply and installation of one (1) 3 m x 3 m x 1.2 m reinforced concrete foundation;
- Installation of one (1) 9.14 m Aid to Navigation steel lattice tower and appurtenances supplied by Coast Guard;
- Demolition of one (1) existing 7.4 m steel pipe tower and concrete foundation.
- Arrange and pay for licensed land surveyor to stake property boundaries, verify location and orientation, and elevation of existing and new tower and foundation.
- Arrange and pay for geotechnical testing services across multiple stages of the work.
- Restoration of site following construction activities.
LL 1430 Wades Landing Sector is a marine aid to navigation tower at the end of its lifecycle and is required to be replaced. The site is accessible by standard motor vehicle. Figure 1 shows the existing tower. The sites coordinates are 46°07'06.12"N, 79°31'42.76"W.
All work must be complete by March 13, 2026.
