Tender description
The Department of National Defence (DND), on behalf of Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC), requires the supply, delivery, installation, configuration, testing, and environmentally compliant disposal services associated with the replacement of batteries for an APC Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system supporting critical IT infrastructure at the DRDC Ottawa Research Centre.
The requirement includes the provision of a WMBRS8-MB-T4 Modular Battery Replacement Service for APC UPS unit model STCF40KF (Serial No. PD0810360116), including eight (8) replacement SYBT4 battery modules, removal and disposal of existing batteries, installation of replacement batteries, system configuration, and verification of proper operation following installation. Due to compatibility and operational requirements associated with the existing UPS system, substitute or equivalent products will not be accepted.
