This project involves the supply of all labour, equipment and materials required to replace a Hydrometric Cableway on the Highwood River. The A frame structures and cable cars will be supplied by Environment Canada for contractor assembly and installation. The locations are remote and access constraints exist.
The project will involve the removals, disposal of steel structures containing lead paint, excavation, reinforced concrete works, A frame and Cable car assembly and installation, painting and cable supply and installation.
Value of Project: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated between $500,001 > $ 1,000,000
Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF). Tenderers should note that attachment 1 (ATT 1) contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory structure.
NOTICE - Optional Site Visit
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site.
Arrangements have been made for a tour of the work site.
There will be an optional Bidders’ site meeting on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form.
