Nature of Work:
CCGC currently has two cement slab roofs that have a failing membranes causing leaking and water damage. The general scope of work for this project would be to remove the existing membrane and install a new membrane. Each roof is approximately 300 square feet for a total of approximately 600 square feet of roof. The MacKenzie Roof will need a wooden deck and railing system installed after the new membrane is applied. A Detailed specification complete with drawings will be provided. Bidders must attend a site visit in order to submit their bids. It is essential that contractors view the site and surroundings to understand the work involved.

Start Date: Upon Award.
Completion Date: All work to be completed by 31 October 2013
Mandatory Site Visit: is to be held on Monday, September 23rd, 2013 at 10:00am local time at the Canadian Coast Guard College, Mackenzie & Arctic Residence Building, 1190 Westmount Road, Sydney NS, B1R 2J8. It is a requirement for all persons wishing to tender on this project to attend this meeting at the site to familiarize themselves fully with the scope of work and the tendering requirements.
Security Requirements: Reliability clearance preferred. If Reliability is not available Escorts will be provided.
