Confederation Heights Central Heating and Cooling Plant, 501

Project description: Replace Chiller #3 at the Confederation
Heights Central Heating and Cooling Plant.
Work is to be completed within thirty-two (32) weeks after
contract award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is
within the following category 4: $500,001 - $1,000,000.
MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At
bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Facility Security
Clearance at level of SECRET. Failure to comply with this
requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further
consideration will be given to the Bid.
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
There will be a site visit on February 14, 2013 at 10:00am.
Interested bidders shall meet at the main entrance at
Confederation Heights Central Heating and Cooling Plant, 501
Heron Road, Ottawa, On, K1A 0S1. No pictures are allowed.
Safety Attire - It is mandatory that all persons attending the
site visit have the proper safety footwear (CSA approved green
patch), hard hats and safety glasses are also required.
Contractor personnel/individuals who do not have the proper
safety attire will be denied access to the site.
