Title: Library Square Lighting Retrofit
Location: Library Square Federal Building, Vancouver, BC
Note to Tenderers:
Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and

paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
directory structure.
Work Description:
Work of this Contract comprises implementation of lighting
upgrades, located Library
Square, 350 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, BC.
All work as described in these specifications including all site
work and project close out
documentation to target the completion on or before March 31
2013.
Scope-of-Work shall not be limited to but shall include:
1. Upgrading approximately 3400 - 2 lamp deep cell parabolic
luminaires as located
throughout the office spaces within the building.
2. Luminaires must be certified by CSA or other acceptable
agency and new labels
to be provided.
3. Work shall include; removal of existing fluorescent lamps,
lampholders, and
ballasts. Dispose of materials in accordance with Section 01 74
21.
4. Clean all internal surfaces of the luminaires housings,
including surfaces under
the ballast channel;
5. New replacement lampholders shall be installed;
6. New high efficiency electronic ballasts shall be installed;
7. Install fluorescent ballast wiring disconnects for ballasts
wiring;
8. Clean all specular aluminum louvers and reinstall.
9. Input project information online into BC Hydro's Power Smart
Partner Express
Site Visit:
A Site Visit has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 19, 2013
at 1:00 p.m. Interested Bidders are to meet in the lobby of the
Library Square office building located at 300 West Georgia
Street, Vancouver, BC.
Delivery Date:
All work must be completed prior to March 31, 2013.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
is estimated to cost between
200,000.00 to 300,000.00.
Firms intending to submit tenders for this project should obtain

services provider. Firms that elect to base their bid on tender
(solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at
