DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Work under this contract covers the Renovation for the Fundy Multi-Purpose Centre at the Fundy National Park.

Major renovations and upgrades to the former Seawinds Building in Fundy NP to create and indoor multi-functional space to facilitate visitor experience opportunities. work will include the removal and replacement of all interior 7 exterior finishes, roofing system, and doors & windows; structural upgrades to the walls & roof structure; and the installation of new washroom facilities, electrical power & lighting systems and heating system.

October 16, 2014 at 1400 hrs (EDT)

SITE VISIT – OPTIONAL:

It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a tour of the work site. The site visit will be held on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2014, at 10:30 am (ADT).

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority 2 calendar days before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

Interested bidders are to meet at the Fundy National Park Office, 20 Service Road, Fundy National Park, NB, E4H 4V1.

NOTE TO POTENTIAL BIDDERS:
Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.

Standard Terms and Conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference into, and form part of the Tender and Contract Documents.

DELIVERY DATE:
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work on or before June 19, 2015.
