Work Description:

Work of this Contract comprises renovation of two Sea Can
shipping containers at the Matsqui Complex in Abbotsford,
delivery of renovated units to Kent Institution and installation
of units on leveled site and connection to and supply of
electrical power and remedial work as indicated, at Kent
Institution, Agassiz, B.C.

Work will be performed in accordance with the contract schedules
within the scope of work.

Site Visit:
A site visit is scheduled on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 @ 01:00
pm local time. Bidders are to meet at the PWGSC Site Office at
the Matsqui Institution located at 33344 King Road, Abbotsford,
B.C.

Note: All contractors must wear a high visibility vest, which
meets WCB standards, for all site visits including a tender site
visit. No cameras, cell phones (of any type) or lap top
computers are allowed into institutions at any time. All
contractors attending the site visit must to able to provide a
piece of Government issued photo identification at the reception
in order to gain visitor access into institutions.

Delivery Date:
The work shall commence immediately upon official notification
of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to
be completed within six (6) weeks of contract award.

Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain

from Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Firms that elect to base their
bids on tender (solicitation) documents obtained from other
sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible
to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to
bid. In all cases, bidders must indicate (when requested) in the
space provided on the tender form the identification number(s)
of the addenda, if any, that they have taken into consideration
for their bid.
