Title: Steel Camel Repairs
Location: Institute of Ocean Sciences, Sidney, BC

Work Description:
The site of the work is at the Institute of Ocean Sciences
located at 9860 West Saanich Road, Sidney, BC. The work
consists of but is not limited to the following:

  • Replace existing camel connections at twenty (20) locations
  • Clean and remove all marine growth and barnacles on all

surfaces of the floating camels

  • Salvage and repair leaks on seven (7) sinking steel camels

Site Visit:
Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to
submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or
investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with
the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.

A site visit is scheduled on November 20, 2014 at 11:00 am PST.
Interested contractors are to meet at the Institute of Ocean
Sciences located at 9860 West Saanich Road, Sidney, BC.
Contractors are to sign in with the Commissionaire at the gate.

Delivery Date:
Provide a schedule of work within ten (10) days of award of
contract and complete work within twelve (12) weeks from date of
contract award.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
is estimated to cost between
$100,000.00 to 130,000.00.
