Full description

Description of Work: This project involves complete repairs/restoration of the stone masonry in the dry ditch counterscarp walls of Fort Henry. That include furnishing of all labour, materials, tools, equipment, power plant, systems, transportation and supervision necessary to completely perform the work.

Closing Date and Time: Wednesday, May 6, 2015 2 o’clock EDT

Mandatory Site Visit:
It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at 1 Fort Henry Drive, Kingston, Ontario on Tuesday April 28, 2015. The site visit will begin at 10:00 EDT, in the main parking lot outside the Fort Henry Visitor Centre.

Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than Friday April 27, 2015 EDT to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders will be required to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders should confirm in their bid that they have attended the site visit. Bidders who do not attend the mandatory site visit or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment and their bid will be declared non-responsive. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.

Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.

Standard Terms and Conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference into, and form part of the Tender and Contract Documents.

Delivery Date: The Work must be completed on or before 31 December 2017.
