Roof Remediation, Joseph A Ghiz Building, 275 Pope Road,
Summerside, Prince Edward Island
Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement
for a roof remediation at the Joseph A Ghiz Building, 275 Pope
Road, Summerside, Prince Edward Island.
The sections of the roof to be repaired are indicated on the
roof plan. Work to include but not be limited to:
.1 Remove and dispose of the existing roofing materials as
indicated in the specifications
and on the attached contract drawings.
.2 Install new EPDM roof system as indicated in the
specifications and on the attached
contract drawings, complete with all components necessary to
ensure continued water
tightness of all penetrations and protrusions.
.3 Where indicated on contract drawings, temporarily remove
existing steel handrails and
re-attach once new roof has been completed.
.4 Provide sealant at all locations to achieve watertight seals
A public bid opening will be held at the Bid Receiving Unit,
Cambridge Building, 3 Queen Street, Charlottetown, PEI
The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following
category: $250,001 - $500,000 (HST included).
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within 4
weeks of award.
New measures related to Code of Conduct and certifications
included in the solicitation documents requires attention.
