  • The Contractor must not start any work until the Project Authority or their delegate gives authorization to do so.
  • The Contractor must provide all labour, tools, equipment, parts and cover travel costs necessary to provide the required service. The Contract must maintain an inventory of all tools brought on the CSC site. CSC Security will verify all tools upon the Contractor’s arrival and departure from the site.
  • The Contractor is responsible to obtain parts as required to complete small appliance maintenance and repairs.
  • The Contractor must provide service within 24 hours of receipt of a Task Authorization during regular institutional business hours (Monday to Friday).
  • The Contractor must be available to receive service calls via telephone, telephone answering machine, beeper, cell phone or other communication devices and must respond to Dorchester Penitentiary within one hour of receiving a service call to arrange a time to come in to perform the repair or maintenance service, or both.
