Security and Demarcation Fence Repairs, Bowden, AB
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), on behalf
of the Correctional Services Canada, is seeking tenders for the
provision of all materials, equipment, labour and supervision to
repair components of the security & demarcation fences at
Correctional Services Canada, Bowden Institution, Bowden,
Alberta including:
Repair and replace concrete foundation (Grade Beam and Concrete
post anchoring);
Repair and replace Mesh and Ties;
Repair and replace Posts and Rails;
Repair and replace Gates/gate components;
Repair and replace Concertina and Barb wire and support
components; and
Protect and Maintain Fence and Motion Detection systems during
construction.
The project includes two defined phases for construction. These
Phases allow for minimal overlap.
Completion Date: 10 months from date of contract award.
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
There will be an optional site visit on October 16, 2012 at
10:00 A.M. Interested bidders are to meet at Correctional
Services Canada, Main Gate Building, Bowden Institution,
Bowden, Alberta.
All those choosing to attend the site visit will be required to
complete a Canadian Police Information Computer (CPIC) Security
Clearance Request Form. Security Clearance form is included
with the tender document. Security clearance requests forms
must be submitted directly to Jason Kremp / Greg Glimsdale at
Fax No. (403) 227-8151 for processing no later than 24 hours
prior to attending the site visit. A list will be compiled of
all personnel attending. Persons with Criminal Records will be
denied access to the Institution.
