NOTICE AMENDMENT 001 is issued to advise bidders of the release
of questions and answers via solicitation amendment 001.
TECHNICAL DATA PACKAGE AVAILABLE
R&O PROPELLER BLADES & HOLDING BOLT
The Canadian Department of National Defence has a requirement
for Repair and Overhaul support services, Mobile Repair Parties
(MRP), Field Service Representative (FSR), Special
Investigations Technical Studies (SITS), Technical Investigation
and Engineering Services (TIES), modifications and/or reduction
to spares for the Transmission System Propeller Blades and
Holding Bolts and related equipment IAW the SOW and Logistics
Statement of Work attached to the RFP. This work will be
carried out at the Contractor's Plant and/or aboard ship.
This procurement is subject to the Controlled Goods Program..
The R&O services shall not exceed three (3) years commencing
from the date of contract award, with a provision for two (2)
additional one-year option periods.
The Contractor shall furnish the services and supplies in
accordance with Special Instructions for
Repair and Overhaul Contractors, A-LM-184-001/JS--001 forming
part of the RFP. Repair and Overhaul of items shall be
performed in accordance with the Original Equipment
Manufacturer's (OEM's) service manual/service bulletins and
OEM's technical product updates.
Canadian Military Technical Data Package will be provided to
bidders upon request from the Contracting Authority of Public
Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). In order for the
bidder to obtain technical documents in a timely manner, the
bidder must order the material no later than 15 days prior to
bid closing. This request for technical data must be in
writing, and sent by facsimile to the attention of Muriel Wright
at facsimile number 819-956-0897. Technical data not ordered
within the acceptable time period will not be actioned, and no
extension to the bid closing date or time will be granted for
this reason.
