Title: West Coast Trail Bridges Repair

Location: Pacific Rim National Park, Vancouver Island, BC

Note to Tenderers:

downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachments contains
the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which consists of
PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory
structure.

Work Description:
Work under this Contract covers bridge repair, and bridge
replacement work on the following bridges and a crossing along
West Coast Trail, Vancouver Island, BC:

• Bridge No. 19 - replacement
• Bridge No. 21 - repair
• Cheewhat Suspension Bridge - repair
• Cullite Cable Car Crossing - repair
• Bridge No. 96 - repair
• Bridge No. 97 - repair

Work will be performed in accordance with the contract schedules
within the scope of work.

Site Visit:
There will be NO SCHEDULED SITE VISIT. However, contractors are
encouraged to view the site on their own.

Delivery Date:
The work shall commence immediately upon official notification
of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to
be completed within twelve (12) weeks from Contract Award.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project
is estimated to cost around
$450,000.00.

Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain

from Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Firms that elect to base their
bids on tender (solicitation) documents obtained from other
sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible
