W0127-14P017/A - VEHICLE REPAIRS: BODY
1 Service Battalion Maintenance Company (1 Svc Bn Maint Coy) is
responsible for the maintenance and repair of a large fleet of
various vehicles, up to and including large, commercial style
motor coaches (buses). Because there are so many types of
vehicles, of both military and civilian pattern, it is difficult
for DND to provide all the parts, labour and expertise required
to make repairs to all of the fleet.
DND is looking for one (1) Standing Offer from this solicitation
Vehicles in this service repair category include, but are not
limited to:
Ford
GMC
Honda
Toyota
Hyundai
Chevorlet
Chrysler
International Vehicles
Typical services required will include, but are not limited to:
Repair, restoration, and modification to vehicles
Replacement of damaged parts
Sandblasting
Painting
Damage appraisals
Frame and body structural repairs
Body sheet metal work
Plastic repairs
DND will be responsible for the pick-up and return of the
vehicles, from Edmonton Garrison to the Offeror's facility.
Offeror must be located within 30 minutes of the Edmonton
Garrison.
The period for making call-ups against the Standing Offer is
from date of issue for three (3) years.
The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods
and/or services.
The Estimated Usage over the three (3) year period is 600 hours
total (200 hours per year)
Bidders must provide a list of names, or other related
information as needed, pursuant to section 01 of Standard
Instructions 2006.
For services requirements, Bidders in receipt of a pension or a
lump sum payment must provide the required information as
detailed in article 3 of Part 2 of the bid solicitation.
