The Department of National Defence has a requirement for the
provision of Dispersed Meals, which consist of hot and cold
meals, and box meals, on an "as and when requested basis", for
military exercises, to various locations within and around the
Greater Toronto Area (28 locations).
The number of participants per exercise can vary between 10 to
400 personnel, and can run up to five days consecutively. The
hours will range from 0530 to 2100 hours.
There may be occasions when services must be provided within 4
hours of the call-up notice.
The meal options must include Halal, Kosher and vegetarian
meals.
It is anticipated that one Standing Offer will be issued.
The proposed period of the standing offer is for 1 year from 1
November 2012 to 31 October 2013 with the right to request an
extension for an additional period of 1 year.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
