Invitation to Tender FP802-150043
Restoration of the Exterior of the Cape Anguille Light Tower, Newfoundland

Sealed, signed tenders will be received up to 9:30am Eastern Daylight Time: June 9, 2015 for the attached services in accordance with the documents enclosed.

Please address the bid to Natasha Blackstein. Make sure any outside envelope (i.e. courier envelopes) are addressed as per the sample below.

The onus is on the bidder to ensure that the bid is delivered on time to the location designated.

The bidder is required to supply with their bid:

Any tender received after the above noted time will be considered late and will be returned to the sender unopened. Tenders may be revised by email, letter or fax (613) 991-1297, provided the tender and revision(s) are both received prior to Tender Closing Time.

Nature of the Work:
The work consists of the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and material for Anguille Light Tower, NL, in strict accordance with specifications and accompanying drawings and subject to all terms and conditions of the Contract.

Location of Work, Work site and Delivery Point:
Work will be carried out at Cape Anguille, Newfoundland

A Mandatory Site Visit will be held on May 29 2015.
The site visit will occur over a one day period. Contractors are responsible for all costs associated with getting to/from the site in Cape Anguille.
Please Note:

  • A maximum of 2 person per Contractor will be permitted
  • 2 days advanced noticed is to be given to the Contracting Officer will respect to the company and individuals attending the visit

It is a requirement for all persons wishing to tender on this project to attend this meeting at the site to familiarize themselves fully with the scope of work and the tendering requirements. The Bidder’s Representative must sign an attendance list and attend the entire site visit, to have their bid submission considered responsive.

Schedule:
The contractor must complete this project before September 30 2015.

Bidders should note that all questions regarding this request for proposals must be submitted in writing, No Later Than June 4, 2015, 2 pm (14:00 Hours) EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME to the contract authority. The department may be unable to respond to questions submitted after that date.

Fisheries and Oceans Canada will not necessarily accept the lowest or any of the tenders received and reserves the right to reject any and all tenders received which shall be final and at the sole discretion of the Department.
