Subject: Review of the Standards for the Conduct of Government of Canada Public Opinion Research - Telephone and Online Surveys
In 2012 - and, it was decided, every four years thereafter - the Public Opinion Research Directorate of Public Servicesand Procurement Canada (PSPC) reviewed the Standards for conducting Government of Canada Public Opinion Research (for telephone and online surveys). This was done to continue to assist departments and agencies in improving the quality of their public opinion research. The review included feedback from departments, agencies and the research industry
Because you have an interest in our standards, when working with the Government of Canada, we ask that you please review the attached documents and provide us with your comments. We welcome your input on any aspect of the standards, including the modifications or additions already suggested. Your comments will also help us keep in step with the latest trends (e.g., mobile platforms) and methodological issues affecting POR.
