The RCMP is exploring options that would allow for a Common Operating Picture Solution (COPS) to be available for simultaneous monitoring by frontline supervisions, Critical Incident Command (CIC), Division Emergency Operation Centre (DEOC) and the National Operations Centre (NOC). Such technology should have a mapping system capable of plotting resources, sharing information with other users, and linking to operation dispatch systems that track police monitor vehicle location and individual officer movements.

The objective of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather the most current information from industry on the capabilities of solutions involving GEO tracking using various map systems, Secure Text Messaging and Imagery sharing, White Boarding, and Voice over and Radio over Internet Protocol in one common visual solution all within an easily searchable, accessible and secure environment.
