To supply new Blinds, as well as to provide all labour,
materials, equipment, supervision and transportation required to
clean and repair Blinds, on an as and when requested basis, to
areas within the jurisdiction of the Department of National
Defence, CFB Esquimalt, Victoria, BC, during a two (2) year
period from the date of Standing Offer to August 31, 2014.
The principal trade required to perform the work specified in
this agreement is: Venetian Blind Repairing. No subcontractng
of the principal trade under this agreement shall be permitted
without the espress written permission of the Contracting
Authority
Estimated total expenditure $150,000.00
There is a security requirement associated with the requirement
of the Standing Offer.
Mandatory Site Visit
It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for site
visit to be held on July 17, 2012 at 1:00pm, at Naden, just off
Admiral's Road in Esquimalt.
Bidders are requested to communicate, IN WRITING, with the
Contracting Authority no later than ONE (01) business day before
the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the names
of the person(s) who will attend.
Bidders will be required to sign an attendance form. Bidders
should confirm in their bids that they have attended the site
visit. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will
not be given an alternative appointment and their bids will be
rejected as non-compliant. Any clarifications or changes to the
bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included
as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

Verification
Bidders must submit with their bid, by the bid solicitation
closing date:
(a) a complete list of names of all individuals who are
currently directors of the Bidder;
(b) a properly completed and signed form Consent to a Criminal
Record Verification
(PWGSC-TPSGC 229), for each individual named in the list.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
