RMSO - INSULATION REPAIRS
To provide labour, parts, material and equipment necessary to
carry out miscellaneous repairs to insulation and lagging
onboard various government vessels located in the
Halifax/Dartmouth, Nova Scotia area on an "urgent" and "as and
when requested" basis. Period 01 September 2012 to 31 August
2014.
For DND Requirements: Work is to be carried out in accordance
with Specification CFTO-C-03-011-007/MS-002 Insulation Manual
for HMC Ships and Statement of Contractor Requirements (SOCR)

For CCG Requirements: The Canadian Coast Guard is now operating
within the International Safety Management Code (ISM). The
contractor will be responsible to ensure that all work is
carried out in accordance with the DFO/CCG Safety Annex, for
those items that are pertinent to the contractor's operation.
The Contractor and his subcontractors must agree to conduct all
work within the legislative requirements of the Canada Labour
Code - Part 2, and it's regulations, as well as any other
relevant legislation and codes such as the Provincial Health &
Safety Act, the Canadian Electrical Code and the The National
Building Code.
Delivery: Urgent: one (l) hour from receipt of call-up document.
Routine: Three (3) hours from receipt of call-up document.
