Nature of Requirements:
DECK REPAIRS VARIOUS GOV'T VESSELS
To Provide labour, parts, materials and equipment to carry out
routine repairs to deck coverings, including vinyl, asbestos,
ceramic tiles, quarry tiles, quartzite, ceramite, dex-o-tex,
neo-tex and various seamless floor coverings on and for
Government Vessels in the Halifax/Dartmouth area, together with
the application of rubber latex underlay to specification
CDA/ME/TECH 1-0-6 and adhesive to specification
CDA/MC/TECH/1-0-10 on an "urgent" and "as and when requested"
basis.
In addition, the following conditions must also be met All work
to be carried out in accordance with the below listed documents:
- D-23-003-005/S-002 (painting specification)
- D-28-155-000/SF-003 (underlayment specification)
- SSPC-SP-11 (power tool cleaning to bare metal)
- SSPC-SP-1 (solvent cleaning)
- 81-GP-10A (application of seamless flooring)
- 81-GP-4M (quartzite or equal)
Period of Standing Offer: 1 August 2012 to 31 JULY 2014
Delivery: Urgent: One (1) hour from receipt of call-up
document. Routine three (3) hours from receipt of call-up.
