NRCan is seeking proposals from bidders to perform the initial stage of an initiative to build an exhaustive and consistent database of the mineralogical characteristics of Canadian REE deposits, beginning with the top ten advanced REE projects in Canada and relevant comparable global deposits. This information is necessary in order to gain a better understanding of their impact on the processing response; to compile available information on mineralogical assemblages and associated metallurgical data.
