Requirement:
The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for
the procurement of ribbons award, clip-ons. All units must be
manufactured in accordance with the DND specification
D-80-001-146/SF-001 dated September 24, 1987 last amended
November 18, 2005, the Design Data List DDL 8486-134546 and the
sealed patterns.
Technical Data:
Technical data will be automatically issued to bidders who will
order the bid document from MERX. Therefore, it is imperative
that this request for bid documentation be done as soon as
possible to ensure timely receipt of the associated technical
data. Notwithstanding, the Crown shall not be held responsible
for untimely release of technical data.
The Technical Data Package and sealed sample shall be available
for viewing at the following PWGSC regional offices: Quebec, QC,
Montreal, QC, Mississauga, ON, Winnipeg, MB, Edmonton, AB,
Vancouver, BC, and at DND, Gatineau, QC.
Firm Quantity: The total firm quantity to be delivered is 39,000
each to Montreal, QC.
Delivery requested: To commence 30 calendar days from the date
of the written notice of approval of the pre-production samples.
Option 1 - Estimated Quantity: This requirement also includes an
option to purchase up to an additional estimated quantity of
19,500 to 39,000 each to be delivered to Montreal, QC. This
option is exercisable within 24 months from contract award.
Canadian Content Policy:
This requirement is subject to the Canadian Content Policy and
is conditionnally limited to Canadian Goods.
Enquiries:
To ensure a response before the bid closing date, all enquiries
about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received
by the Contracting Authority at least seven (7) calendar days
prior to the closing date.
