Nature of Requirements:
Amendment 002 is raised to extend the bid closing date from 3rd
April 2013 to 10th April 2013 and to answer questions.
All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain the
same.
A proposal already submitted may be amended prior to closing
time by sending the amended correspondence to Bid Receiving, the
envelope/fax bearing the Solicitation No. W8486-136758/A and the
new closing date April 10th, 2013.
NSN: 8465-21-865-6678 Bag, Duffel, polyester duck, Canadian
Average Green, 30" in length, 15" in. Diameter, side opening
running the length of bag, slide fastener closure with cover
flap, 3 carrying handles and identity window. 15,000 unites. The
Duffel Bag shall be made in-accordance with the DESIGN DATA LIST
(DDL8486-136758) and Sealed sample: DSSPM 401-97. The base cloth
material shall be Cloth Duck, Polyester, 356g/m²(10.5oz/yd²)
which shall be polyurethane coated one side with the final
material weight. to be 400g/m²(11.8oz/yd²) +
10.0g/m²(0.30oz/yd²,-g/oz/yd²) and shall be mildew resistant; and
The Duffel Bag colour shall be Canadian Average Green, Sealed
Pattern: DSSPM 281-01.
Required for the Department of National Defence to be delivered
to the Montreal and Edmonton warehouses, requested for September
30, 2013.
Three options exists for a minimum of 50% up to a maximum of
100% of the above quantities.
The requirement is solely limited to Canadian goods.
To assure a response before the bid closing date, all enquiries
about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received
by the Contracting Authority at least 7 calendar days prior to
the bid closing date.
Technical Data shall be automatically issued, under separate
cover upon request for the bid documentation. Therefore, it is
imperative that this request for bid documentation be done as
soon as possible to ensure timely receipt of the associated
technical data.
Notwithstanding the Crown shall not be held responsible for
untimely release of technical data, since technical package and
sealed sample shall be available for viewing at the following
Department of Public Works and Government Services regional
offices:

Edmonton, Alta
