Construction for road repairs, new roads and road surfaces at
the Bowden Institution, Bowden Alberta.

Site Perimeter road upgrades at the Bowden Institution includes
the repair of the perimeter roads by material removal, filling,
compacting and paving in expanded & repaired areas as designed,
the repairs of access areas by filling, compacting and paving in
& repaired areas as designated, the preparation of a new parking
area including stripping, the use of geotextiles, filling,
compacting, and paving, and installation of Electrical
components & electrical connections for the new parking area
including: trenching, duct work, conduits, cables, switching,
new transformer, new manhole, parking plugs and area lights.

Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
consist of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
directory structure.

NOTICE - OPTIONAL SITE VISIT

It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a
tour of the work site.

The site visit will be held on: May 7, 2013 at 10:00 AM.
Interested bidders are to meet at Main Gate, Bowden Institution,
QEII Highway South, Bowden, Alberta.

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting
Authority before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance,
provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders
that do not provide the name(s) of the person(s) attending the
site visit risk being denied access to the site.
