Background:
Parks Canada is currently addressing the public safety aspects
of various dams and water control structures along its waterways
located in Ontario. Dam Safety Booms otherwise known as barrier
floats are being sought to act as a visual delineator of
in-water hazard areas upstream of dams.
Objective
Parks Canada seeks to purchase a quantity of Dam Safety Booms
including individual foam filled plastic shelled floatation
units and associated steel interconnector hardware. Installation
is not required as part of this requirement. The products will
be installed in the future by in-house forces or by external
contract as part of an ongoing program aimed at improving public
safety at Parks Canada's dams located in Ontario.

Delivery required: While delivery is requested by 27 February
2015, delivery must be completed no later than 17 March 2015.
