ROAD SALT FOR NATIONAL PARKS IN ALBERTA AND BC
REQUEST FOR STANDING OFFER
Requirement:
For the supply and delivery of Coarse Road Salt (sodium chloride
as NaCl) in bulk to various delivery locations in Banff National
Park, Yoho National Park, Kootenay National Park and Mount
Revelstoke/Glacier National Parks and Medium Road Salt (sodium
chloride as NaCl) in bulk to the Parks Canada Salt Shed in Banff
National Park, as requested during the period of the Standing
Offer.
Road salt must be in accordance with Government Specification
CAN/CGSB15.9-95 dated November 1992.
Standing Offer period: For a period of 2 years from date of
issuance

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade
Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the
North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement
